Infiniti Q60 (G Cabrio) - despite the fact that the convertible is exactly the same as coupe, uses a branded “trolley”, in which the engine is shifted to the limits of the wheelbase, an open two-door is more tuned not for sports driving, but for comfortable voyages. So, in the Q-cabriolet, other shock absorbers are installed, and an additional damper is installed on the steering mechanism, damping vibrations from the suspension.
The steering wheel is adjusted in the same way as on other models of the Q60 series: the instrument panel moves along with the steering column, so that the steering wheel does not overlap the instrument indicators.
The servos take 25 seconds to lower and raise the roof. The mechanism works only when the car is not moving.
The interior of the open two-door is identical to the closed coupe. But outwardly, the convertible is slightly different: it is slightly wider, has a different roof line. And besides that, the Q Cabrio is also heavier. An additional 180 kilograms was reflected in acceleration. The convertible accelerates to “hundreds” in 6.4 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds more than the coupe.
Already in the "base" Infiniti Q60 Cabrio is equipped with heated and ventilated leather seats, bi-xenon headlights, multimedia with navigation, 19-inch wheels, and a windscreen, which, if necessary, is mounted in place for rear passengers.
A convertible is produced in Japan. In the US and other markets, the Convertible is offered under the name Q60 Convertible.
