Infiniti QX30 - a premium compact crossover, which is a "raised" modification of the hatchback Q30. The world premiere of the model took place in November 2015 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and the European premiere took place in March 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show. Competitors: Mercedes-Benz GLA, Audi Q3 and BMW X1.
The model for the production Infiniti Q30 and QX30 was the eponymous concept presented in autumn 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. At the same time, the Mercedes-Benz MFA platform, on which the Mercedes-Benz GLA. The models have a similar body structure and a partially unified range of powertrains and transmissions.
From the original Q30, the car with the “x” in the name differs from the ground clearance increased from 172 to 202 mm, the track extended by 10 mm in front and 11 mm in the rear, unpainted plastic wheel arch extensions and similar sills, slightly modified bumpers and an exclusively all-wheel drive transmission (Q30 can be either front- or all-wheel drive).
Two models of engines are installed on the Infiniti QX30 - a turbodiesel with a return of 170 hp. and a 211 hp petrol turbo engine. Both engines are combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, but in Ukraine the model is presented exclusively in a gasoline version. From 0 to 100 km / h, such a car accelerates in 7.3 seconds and, according to the passport, consumes 8.9 l / 100 km of fuel in the city, 5.7 on the highway and 6.9 liters in the combined cycle. Four-wheel drive is implemented through a multi-plate clutch and is fully electronically controlled.
Already in the basic equipment, the QX30 is equipped with front LED fog lights, rear lights with LEDs, heated exterior mirrors, electrically adjustable and auto-dimming, cruise control, and six airbags. In the higher trim levels, the car is offered with leather seats, an adaptive lighting system, which has proven itself very well during our editorial test drive, BOSE audio system with 10 speakers, panoramic roof, surround view system, proximity access system, front seat memory and other equipment.
