Infiniti QX70 (Infiniti FX)- the second generation of the model, which debuted in 2008. In the summer of 2011, the company introduced a restyled version of the crossover, which is now offered in Ukraine. The list of new things includes a modified shape of the radiator grille, a different edging of the foglights in the bumper, a fresh design of the rims, as well as a different dashboard.

In addition, a V-shaped diesel “six” with a volume of three liters (238 hp, 550 Nm) appeared in the range of engines, consuming, according to passport data, 11.2 liters of “heavy” fuel per hundred kilometers in the urban cycle. The motor is equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger. The engine reaches maximum power at 3,750 rpm, and peak thrust in the range from 1,750 to 2,500 rpm. A 4.9-meter diesel crossover weighing about two tons accelerates to “hundreds” in 8.3 seconds. The maximum speed is 212 km/h.

The list of power plants also includes two naturally aspirated gasoline engines:

• V6 with a volume of 3.7 liters (333 hp, 363 Nm) - acceleration from zero to one hundred kilometers takes 6.8 seconds;

• V8 with a volume of 5 liters (400 hp, 500 Nm) - accelerates to “hundreds” in 5.8 seconds.

All engines are aggregated with a seven-speed automatic transmission with a sport mode.

Regardless of the motor, all Infiniti QX70 modifications are equipped with an all-wheel drive system (ATTESA E-TS), which controls the torque on each wheel separately. In normal dry conditions, up to 100% of traction is given to the rear wheels. On snowy roads and off-road, the torque can be distributed in a ratio between the front and rear axles of 50:50.

For the top versions with a five-liter engine, two-mode (Auto and Sport) electronically controlled shock absorbers are available, as well as a Rear Active Steering system that can turn the rear wheels. In its work, it relies on indicators of speed and steering angle sensors, the signals of which are processed by the electronic control unit. Depending on the conditions, the steering angle of the rear wheels can reach one degree.

Standard equipment includes 20-inch wheels (21 is an option), natural wood trim, leather upholstery, a tailgate servo and other premium-class goodies.

It is noteworthy that despite the fact that the Infiniti brand belongs to "Nissan", QX70 is unparalleled in the latter's lineup. Serial production of the Infiniti QX70 has been launched in Japan.
